125. A crew has signed on for a 3-month voyage. Fourteen days into the voyage a seaman is improperly discharged at the first port of call. How much pay is he entitled to receive?
A seaman improperly discharged before earning one month's wages is entitled to earned wages plus one month's additional compensation, as stipulated by 46 U.S. Code § 10313(c).
