318. BOTH INTERNATIONAL & INLAND In a meeting situation, which vessel may sound at least five or more rapid blast on the whistle?

Either vessel may sound at least five rapid blasts when in doubt of the other vessel's intentions or when a risk of collision exists, as stipulated in Navigation Rules Rule 34(d).
