106. Why is the cycle efficiency higher in the intercooled-recuperated cycle as compared to a simple cycle gas turbine
The intercooler reduces compressor work, and the recuperator recovers exhaust heat to decrease fuel consumption while maintaining turbine inlet temperature, resulting in higher cycle efficiency.
