258. How may water be removed from the bowl of the separator as shown in the illustration

The separator is used to remove solids from the processed liquid; therefore the accumulation of water does not present a problem.
Water may only be removed from the bowl when the unit is secured and the bowl hood is removed.
When the unit is secured and the bowl stops rotating, the water is drained off the bottom of the bowl through orifice ports.
The water may be removed through the water drain valve or through the sludge ports during the sludge discharge cycle.
