The Nautical Almanac provides local mean time (LMT) of sunset based on latitude and date. To determine zone time, correct for the difference between the ship's longitude (31W) and the zone meridian (30W), which is 1 or 4 minutes. Therefore, the zone time of sunset is 1836 + 4 minutes = 1840.
